Ursa nursing her pup, Sutara. That is Orion, with a full belly, sleeping on the towel.
We call this a box full of chocolates. Time to get a bigger box!
Sutara is quite relaxed for her daily weigh-in
The pups got their first taste of food at four weeks of age
In just a couple of days the pups have moved to their feeding bowls
At five weeks of age the pups are in their big pen
Mom and pups playing
Starting to explore the outdoors
Danica
Relaxing after a long day of socializing
A favorite pastime is to play with a stick
Here the pups are one week old
Because Ursa’s name, our theme for this litter started out to be names of stars. It morphed into words for “star” in other languages or cultures. So, we have the following names:
Boys
Namid - Yellow collar with dots, Sirius - Blue collar with dots, Reeva - Red collar with stripes
Girls
Seren - Purple collar, Sutara - Blue collar, Danica - Yellow collar, Vela - Violet collar, Orion - Red collar
Danica is not being very lady like here but she sure is comfortable snuggled into the middle of her siblings.
At two weeks of age the pups began opening their eyes…
and walking. We caught Sirius starting to get up on all four feet.
At four weeks of age the pups are starting to play
Mom still needs to nurse and help the pups wash down that new food
By four-and-a-half weeks the pups are already on to their second pen and using the litter pans
Within an hour of getting in their big pen the pups are using their crate
Nap time for some tired pups
Reeva found the leaves to be appealing
Vela
Microchip time means bath time for the pups
The pups socializing with some new friends
